VOLUNTEER WITH US
We run a quarterly two-part virtual volunteer orientation training.
The first training is a 90m Intro to CWNYC, which covers a brief history of mass incarceration & abolition, the NYC court system, why court watching is important and how you can get involved. After this training, you can provide court support, sign up for our second training, join our study group, our signal community and our events! Our next Intro Training will be in September. We will email our mailing list when it is scheduled.
The second training is a tactical #BailWatch training, which goes into detail on the logistics of how to join our arraignments watching campaign. After you have completed that training, you can also sign up for arraignments watching shifts and/or help with logistics!
